I haven't had much time lately to do any painting.  Have been busy renovating our new house which is very exciting.  I am feeling inspired again though so look out for more paintings coming soon.

Feeling good now I've just finished my latest 'coo' painting.  Very happy with the final result.  Looking forward to going to the Lake District soon.  It's so beautiful there and no doubt I will get lots of new ideas for future work.

The weather in the Lake District was very disappointing - rain and snow!! Didn't come home with much new material.  I'm really enjoying my Highland 'Coos' at the moment though and I've just painted another one on a large scale.  I'm thinking of doing a few of them on different colour backgrounds.   Will see how it works out.

We are now in June and I have not painted one picture!!  Been too busy moving house and looking after my new Vizsla puppy.  All is calming down and I'm hoping to get back to my easel in the next week.  Another coo??

Well my 'coo' on white turned out very well.  When am I going to stop loving them so much?  Think I'm onto something with my latest one though as it's gone down very well and this painting is on its way to its new home today!!  Still feel the urge to paint a few more on different backgrounds.  Here we go.....

Painted a 'coo' on cobalt blue and I love the effect but I'm frustrated because I cannot manage to take a good enough photo of it to show it properly.  The tongue is a lovely pink.  Will try again when the light is better.  A friend suggested painting a Burgundy Cow - will take a look.........
